By Emma Reynolds

Love it or hate it, rum is having a resurgence, appearing at restaurants and on cocktail menus more than ever before.  Elite Traveler has rounded up the best rum-based cocktails for National Rum Day (today!) that you can easily make at home or get at your favorite bar.

  • 1 part Martini Bianco
  • .75 part St Agrestis Inferno Bitter
  • .25 part St Agrestis Amaro

  • 1 oz Martini Rubino vermouth
  • 1 oz Martini bitter

Build ingredients into a mixing glass, stir for 30-40 seconds and pour over ice in a double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with an orange peel or lemon twist.
