By Samantha Coles

Presented by Grey Goose

lcgg_holiday_vap_open_co_v2As it’s the season to eat, drink and be merry, get in the festive spirit with Grey Goose – the perfect spirit to create divine cocktails for you and your guests. Whilst champagne is the ordinary choice for a celebration, Grey Goose brings something extraordinary to any occasion – the limited edition holiday gift packs exude French sophistication and will delight the most discerning holiday host. The Grey Goose Limited Edition Deluxe Holiday Gift Pack, pictured right, includes its signature 750mL bottle alongside two bespoke olive picks and two silver stirrers.

The first vodka to be produced by a Maitre de Chai, or Cellar Master, Grey Goose has a distinctively smooth taste that is a testament to its skilled craftsmanship and expert spirit making. Made using only the finest French ingredients, the creation of Grey Goose begins in the Picardie region of France where only the highest grade of wheat is selected – the same used in the finest French pastries.

The wheat is sent to a mill and distillery where it is transformed into a high-proof spirit. This wheat spirit is then skillfully blended with spring water from an exclusive lcgg_holiday_gift_tubes_co_v2well in Gensac-La-Paullue, where the water is naturally filtered through limestone.

The Grey Goose Limited Edition Holiday Gift Pack, pictured right, is the ideal holiday gift that sets you apart from the crowd. Including a 750mL bottle of the world’s best tasting vodka, the gift pack is available in an iconic matte blue or silver metallic and is the perfect base for a number of delicious cocktails.

We’ve selected our favorite Grey Goose recipes to get you in the holiday spirit.

The Grey Goose Martini

gg_holiday_martiniThe perfect, elegant cocktail to enjoy with friends and family at a distinguished holiday party. The martini is perhaps the world’s most iconic cocktail. Our version is stirred, never shaken. Stirring avoids over-dilution of the martini cocktail, establishes a perfectly clear liquid without air bubbles, and ensures a smoother mouth feel. Served dry, but not too dry with 5 parts vodka to 1 part vermouth, a dash of orange bitters, and then garnished with a twist of lemon. Grey Goose has more taste than other vodkas because it’s built from the ground up to express the nature of its ingredients, not to remove them. This means it will stand up perfectly to the vermouth.
