Min Jiang, The Royal Garden Hotel’s restaurant in Kensington, is offering guests the chance to welcome the Year of the Rooster with some of the finest Chinese cuisine in London, thanks to the nine-course tasting menu available at the end of this month.
The banquet of dishes symbolize prosperity and good fortune and includes the traditional Yu Sheng Salad prepared with 23 ingredients. Raw fish, root vegetables and Pok Chui crackers all make an appearance, signifying excess, abundance, good returns and gold coins and are sure to set up lucky diners for a prosperous 2017.
Located on the 10th floor of The Royal Garden Hotel, the red-lacquered restaurant boasts breathtaking views of Hyde Park and the London skyline, offering a wonderful accompaniment to the nine-course meal.
The tasting menu is available throughout the Chinese New Year festivities from 27 January until 10 February 2017 and needs to be pre-ordered with available dishes a la carte. Min Jiang’s legendary Beijing Duck, cooked in a wood fired oven and carved at the table, can also be pre-ordered as an additional course.
