The result of JW Marriott’s recent renovation of the accompanying hotel, Soff’s won the “Best of Miami” award for Best Suburban Bar, owing to its location in the further out Aventura area of Miami. That said, Soff’s is far more exciting that its suburban tag would suggest. Named for Aventura’s visionary founder, Donald Soffer, Soff’s immediate environs feature a golf course, water park, and a range of other amenities. Such is the quality of the provisions; the hotel was where the Kansas City Chiefs stayed for the week prior to their Super Bowl victory in 2020. Soff’s was said to be a firm favorite of the players once they had been released from the day’s training. The bar is the perfect spot for relaxing after a long day, with low-slung chairs creating a relaxed vibe, with piano or guitar accompaniment most evenings. In addition to this is the stunning grand veranda attached to the bar that offers great views over the whole of the property, perfectly suited to a late evening drink while surveying the surrounding area.
