Luxury hotel Capella Washington, D.C. is to play host to a ‘Once-in-a-Lifetime Wine Dinner’ this March 15, which no true wine aficionado will want to miss.
Curated by The Grill Room’s Food and Beverage Manager, Will Rentschler with the help of Master Sommelier Emmanuel Kemiji, this exclusive tasting of 20 of the world’s top wines features labels from the top growing regions around the world.
Virtually all of those wines featured are next to impossible procure, meaning this is a true opportunity of a lifetime to taste them all in one seating.
The ‘Once-in-a-Lifetime Wine Dinner’ is priced at $3,500 per person which includes all wine dinner activities, transportation to and from the airport via private sedan as well as one night at the luxurious Capella Washington, D.C., Georgetown, with choice of breakfast or brunch the morning after the dinner.
The exclusive tasting will feature the following top wines:
- Chateau Lafite-Rothschild
- Chateau Petrus
- Screaming Eagle
- Domaine de La Romanee-Conti
- Sassicaia
An afternoon of wine tastings will be followed by a dinner prepared by the hotel’s Executive Chef Jakob Esko, paired with many up-and-coming ‘cult favorite’ wines, giving guests an opportunity to experience them before they quickly become too tricky to obtain.
