LE MISTRAL, FOUR SEASON HOTEL

By Chris Boyle

Style / ambiance: Located in the Four Seasons Hotel, Le Mistral is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers an inspired local cuisine created by Executive Chef Matthias Zumstein and a variety of Argentine wines by the glass.

The setting is informal yet elegant with black-and-white marble floors, wooden tables and leather-covered walls and chairs. The specialties include a buffet for breakfast offering local items such as dulce de leche and mate, as well as a complete à la carte menu. At dinner, experience local delicacies like ancas de rana, mixed grill Mistral parrilla, slow-braised beef ribs and acclaimed Kobe beef from animals raised in the pampas of Argentina. Pastry Chef Santiago Marafuschi creates unique desserts such as warm coconut pudding, pineapple marinated in cardamom and honey ice cream.
