Montreal’s most-stylish denizens and oenophiles flocked to the iconic Ritz-Carlton Montreal last night to toast the official opening of the hotel’s new Dom Pérignon Champagne Bar. Exclusive to the Ritz-Carlton Montreal-and the first of its kind in all of Canada-the Dom Pérignon Champagne Bar is located in the hotel’s famed Palm Court, arguably the city’s most glamourous lobby.
“We are excited to launch the first Dom Pérignon bar in Canada in partnership with the Ritz-Carlton Montreal,” says Stephane de Meurville, the General Manager of Moët-Hennessy Canada. “It is a place that embodies the true Dom Pérignon values of excellence, elegance and expertise.”
The sleek, custom-designed black bar offers a dramatic contrast to the light and airy setting of the Palm Court. The champagne menu features both Rosé & Brut Dom Pérignon available by the glass and bottle; the full service bar also features an exclusive cocktail menu, and offers a variety of spirits and drinks.
Ritz-Carlton Montreal’s Dom Pérignon Champagne Bar is open evenings Thursday-Saturday, from 5.00pm to 11.00pm. Starting next summer, the bar will be open nightly, from June to September 2015. Reservations recommended.
