With space for up to 12 passengers and a maximum range of 2,100 nm, the Cessna Citation XLS has long been the go-to jet of choice for business travelers making regular short-haul journeys. The latest Gen2 model (set for release in 2022) certainly doesn’t disappoint. New additions include the redesigned lighted airstair door with an elevated ramp, wireless cabin management system complete with a touchscreen moving map monitor, and a plush new pedestal seat design. According to Textron, the aircraft will have lower operating and maintenance costs than other midsize jets on the market without forgoing comfort.
