The yachting life has rapidly evolved into unrivaled extravagance redefining the concept of luxury traveling. Flowing waterfalls, mini submarines and a 24-carat gold Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium are just some of the features aboard some of the world’s most luxurious yachts.

These floating mansions are filled with ultra modern amenities, top-of-the-range technology gadgets and interior designs that could downplay those of the most luxurious hotels around.

We have listed some of the opulent yachts that will make every elite traveler’s hedonistic dreams come true.

Designed by UK luxury designer Stuart Hughes, History Supreme was assembled using 100,000 kg of solid gold and platinum to adorn it. Sold for $4.5 billion, the base of the superyacht boasts a thin layer of solid gold whilst the entirety of the vessel including the deck, rails, staircases, dining area and even the ship’s anchor, all feature these precious metals.

history-supreme-yacht-interiorThe master bedroom is decked with platinum and has a wall feature made from meteoric stone and a genuine T-Rex dinosaur bone, while a 68 kg, 24-carat gold panoramic wall aquarium graces the master suite.

Also on-board is a liquor bottle featuring an extremely rare 18.5-carat diamond worth $45 million. There’s also an Apple iPhone wrapped in 500 cut diamonds, including two interchangeable diamonds fitted over the “home” button – a single cut 7.4-carat pink diamond and a rare 8-carat diamond.

At 68 meters, the superyacht features luxurious en-suite facilities equipped with the finest Italian marble and bespoke Lalique crystal taps.

Six full height, 180-degree windows seamlessly blend the inside and outside while offering constant exposure of the sea.

The steam room is made entirely from pearlescent mosaic tiles with smoky quartz stones and soothing chroma-therapy, whilst the white marble treatment room features an adjustable massage bed and heated towel cabinet.

The opulent Galactica Super Nova is equipped with a great selection of amenities and water toys, including a tender and quad ski. The yacht’s toys and tenders are housed in the garage located forward, which doubles as a beach club. There is a 13.500 liters pool on the main deck aft with contraflow system for swimming, a waterfall and integrated Jacuzzi for relaxing, while the glass bottom of the pool allows natural light to filter into the beach club below.

Other features include a touch-and-go helipad which doubles as an outdoor cinema on the main deck, offering owners and guests the highest levels of luxury.

Although still in the making, Streets of Monaco is set to be one of the world’s most luxurious yachts. Expected to be finished in 2017, the superyacht is a floating replica of the city of Monaco.

streets-of-monacoThe 500 foot super-yacht features the famous Monte Carlo Casino and racetrack, alongside Hotel de Paris, Cafe de Paris, La Rascasse and the Loews Hotel. The yacht has swimming pools, tennis courts, a mini waterfall, a cafe-bar with underwater views, a helipad and submarines.
The VIP suites have the added luxury of a private office. On the same level and located centrally to the guest suites are the Library, Communal Office, Communal Balcony and Cinema.
somThe entertainment areas comprise the Main Saloon with separate Havana room and adjoining wine cellar, the Dining Room, Casino and Dance Hall.
Connected to all decks via a private lift and spread over 3 floors, the Owners Apartment covers a total 1460 square meter of floor space. As well as a lounge with a feature fire place and double height ceiling, office, bedroom, bathroom, his/hers dressing rooms, the apartment also benefits from a listening room, private courtyard, sunroom, numerous balconies and private sundeck with a Jacuzzi/swimming pool.
