The watchmaker sponsored last week’s regatta for the fourth consecutive year.
Mille awarded a titanium RM 028 Automatic dive watch to the maxi yacht category winner, a Swan 80 Selene owned by Wendy Schmidt.
The grand prize timepiece has a unidirectional rotating bezel, 47mm tripartite case and is water-resistent to 980 feet. Its variable geometry rotor, a Richard Mille exclusive, automatically adapts winding to the activity of the user via two white gold wings.
Les Voiles de St. Barth brings 60 vessels and 800 sailors from around the world to the Caribbean for five days of sailing. The next annual Voiles de St. Barth will be held on April 7-12, 2014.
