Oysters on the half shell can found on menus at some of the finer restaurants in Los Cabos, but nothing like the presentation at Casa Natalia’s new Baja Oyster Bar. With over ten ways to enjoy these delicate little mollusks on their daily menu and a few more available on request, oyster lovers are in for a real treat.
Chef & Owner, Loic Tenoux, has worked closely with the Sol Azul Sea Farms to ensure The Baja Oyster Bar serves only the best locally sourced oysters. Sol Azul cultivates premium oysters in the pristine waters of the coastal lagoons of El Vizcaino, in the internationally recognized Biosphere Reserve on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula. Their unique location and above-the-ground growing system, which originated in France, adds to the flavor and purity of the final product. Some say the taste of these jewels is like “kissing the sea”.
Opening only a month ago, the Baja Oster Bar is both socially inviting and tastefully appointed. Occupying the upper lobby section of Casa Natalia, San Jose del Cabos finest boutique hotel, it is the prefect spot to meet friends at the end of the day or relax before a gourmet dinner at Mi Cocina, the hotel’s gourmet restaurant.
As Chef Loic says, his oysters are like holding “The Sea in the Palm of Your Hand”.
