Manta, the restaurants name has two meanings. The word in Spanish means ‘blanket’, signifying comfort and warmth, two characteristics the restaurants strives to provide diners. The word ‘Manta’ also refers to manta rays, which symbolizes the establishment’s commitment to focus on local and fresh seafood.
