Antares: A Quirky Nod to Barcelona’s Culture

Property of the Week: Barcelona’s newest development has the most breathtaking views.

Perhaps the biggest draw, however, is the shared amenities space. A nearly 11,000-sq-ft wellness area boasts a fitness center, indoor pool, yoga pod, steam rooms, sauna and spa treatment rooms. There is also a restaurant, cinema room, garden pavilion with a virtual golf simulator and a fully landscaped garden.

Green walls in these shared spaces, as well as being a striking feature, help purify the air and regulate Antares’ internal temperature. Crowning the building is a sky terrace and rooftop infinity pool, offering unobstructed panoramic views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea below.

While you sip a glass or two of Cava on your terrace, you can put your mind at rest that the utmost care has been taken to ensure Antares meets environmental standards. Outside, the glass façade is designed in such a way that minimizes exterior reflection and reduces cold losses and heat by conduction. Inside, the heating and cooling network used has led Antares to receive a Grade A energy performance certification as they actively participate in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
