It was important for Domus Vivendi that Elements was respectful of its location and as energy efficient as possible. For example, the building is heavily insulated throughout, whether this is within the walls or in the glass used for the windows. There is also an ecologically sound heating and cooling system, helping the apartments maintain a comfortable and regular temperature despite Mallorca’s heat.
Environmentally friendly, sustainable materials and techniques have been used throughout the construction of the development. This includes using greenery and vegetation both internally and externally as natural climate control. Natural stone has also been used for flooring, facades and internal walls. There is also a large communal garden on the site that residents can enjoy, which features a selection of native palms and plant life.
