The Restaurant

Chorus, situated on the Waterkloof Wine Estate in Somerset West, presents a dining experience framed by the estate's stunning vistas. Opened in October 2022, this establishment, overseen by chef Bertus Basson and head chef Marcus Gericke, offers a seasonal four- and six-course tasting menu that highlights the region's bounty. The focus is on simple, seasonal cooking, allowing the ingredients to dictate the dishes. The wine list showcases Waterkloof's own wines, alongside selections from other distinguished South African producers. As of February 2025, Chorus does not have any Michelin stars. The modernist glass dining room provides panoramic views of the vineyard and False Bay, complementing the refined cuisine.
