Rustic Canyon is a Michelin-starred, neighborhood restaurant long-recognized for its hyper-seasonal cuisine. Helmed by James Beard-nominated chef/co-owner Jeremy Fox and executive chef Zarah Khan, the menu changes nearly every day. Zarah joined the restaurant in October 2022, and is known for vibrant, clean and exciting flavors in her vegetable dishes, as well as incorporating some Middle Eastern influences as an homage to her heritage. Michelin-recognized pastry chef Erika Chan's desserts imbue whimsy and nostalgia, all while celebrating the best that's in season. She also crafts custom cakes and pies for on-site dinners or off-site celebrations. The team sources the finest ingredients from the nearby Santa Monica Farmers' Market and other regional farmers, fishers and ranchers with planet-friendly practices. From the kitchen to the bar, the restaurant embodies a zero-waste ethos, creatively utilizing every part of an ingredient in the food and seasonal cocktails. Nearly everything is made in-house, down to the sea salt, crafted from leftover water from fresh fish deliveries. The 300+ wine list is curated by sommelier Kathryn Spencer and Rustic Canyon Family Wine director Kathryn Coker, celebrating small producers whom they know and love and who prioritize soil health. Bar manager Justin Dicken's cocktail program features small-batch spirits and farmers' market produce in a variety of classic and innovative, signature drinks. Despite the critical acclaim and accolades, Rustic Canyon is at its heart, a neighborhood restaurant with a warm, welcoming and easy-going atmosphere. Since 2020, the restaurant has also expanded its outdoor seating with a back patio.
