This year will mark the 10th anniversary of Graff Diamonds’ Monaco Rare Jewels Exhibition, held at Hotel de Paris from Tuesday 29th July until Sunday 17th August.
The highly anticipated event provides Graff with the perfect opportunity to present a selection of its very finest jewels and luxury watches to its clients who spend time in the French Riviera over the summer months.
With a worldwide reputation for showcasing the rarest diamonds in the world, expectation is building among Graff’s clientele as to the creations that will take centre stage. Over the last 10 years, the Monaco Rare Jewels Exhibition has played host to a number of the most important and unique stones in the world.
Pieces showcased in previous years include; the Delaire Sunrise, the world’s largest Fancy Vivid Yellow square emerald cut diamond (118.08cts), the Graff Sweethearts, two outstanding 51.33 carat and 50.76 carat D colour Flawless Type IIa heart shape diamonds, the Graff Constellation, the largest D colour internally flawless brilliant cut diamond in the world at 102.79 carats along with a collection of jewels cut from the 550 carat Letšeng Star, the 14th largest white diamond of all time.
It is possible that the ‘Hallucination’, Graff’s 55 million dollar, multi-coloured diamond timepiece, estimated to be the most valuable watch ever created may make an appearance. Launched at BaselWorld earlier in the year, the Hallucination received worldwide acclaim and drew crowds of people all eager for a glimpse of this exception piece.
One thing is certain; the exhibition will bring together a remarkable selection of Graff jewels including opulent brooches, magnificent tiaras, striking necklaces, elegant Alice bands and exquisite timepieces from Graff Luxury Watches. The Monaco Rare Jewels exhibition runs from Tuesday 29th July until Sunday 17th August 2014, from 5pm until 10pm daily at Hotel de Paris on Place du Casino.
Hotel de Paris is an important location for Graff. It represents a significant milestone in the company’s history as the location chosen for its first store, when it embarked upon expansion outside the United Kingdom in 2000.
Graff’s portfolio incorporates over 45 stores globally, with further locations across Asia as well as in Zurich and Riyadh scheduled to open throughout 2014.
