The Best Jewelry to Wear This Summer

By Emma

Summer is a time to be playful with your jewelry (think: loads of color and floral motifs) and instead of wearing your diamonds poolside or to the beach, adorn yourself in pieces that are both chic and fun. Shop our favorite picks just in time for your Memorial Weekend vacation so you can relax in style.

Anabela Chan

Emerald Palm Ear Studs, $1,160

Set in 18K yellow gold, these palm ear studs feature two 8-carat emeralds and two, 2.3-carat marquise Paraíba tourmalines. Small white and canary diamonds and peridots inlayed within the gold palms. This set of earrings from London-based designer, Anabela Chan, pair best with a bronzed glow. From the pool to alfresco dinner, these studs are on-theme for any summer event.

Jacob & Co

Las Palmas Earrings in 18K white gold, $12,600

Hamptons-bound or heading to Los Cabos? Well, these earrings might not be designed for wearing on the beach, per se, but when else can you wear gorgeous palm earrings with white pavé diamonds than in summer? Jacob & Co’s Las Palmas earrings are set in 18K white gold with green ceramic and 1.65 carats of white pavé diamonds, and would look just as chic with a flowing white dress at your next soirée or with a chic coverup at a white-wine-filled lunch with friends. Jacob & Co in New York, +1 212 719 5887,

Silvia Furmanovich

Carved leaf wood marquetry bracelet, $12,400

Brazilian jewelry designer is known for her wood marquetry designs. We love all of her intricately made wood designs, with diamonds, of course, be it a pair of earrings, a cuff (pictured above) or on a clutch. This one in particular is set in 18K yellow gold with .9 carats of emeralds. We love this for the vibrant pink and green with the yellow gold band, recalling a leaf plucked straight out of a tropical rainforest. Bergdorf Goodman in New York, +1 212 753 7300,

Jessica Biales

Watermelon Signet Ring, $1,600

New York-based Jessica Biales is known for her lovely signet rings. This season as part of her Gilded Garden collection, she continues her brand hallmark through a series of produce-inspired rings that just so happen to be the perfect summer accessory. Using colorful enamel, she has crafted cute signets with strawberries, lemons, avocados, radishes and watermelon (along with other pieces, like pendants, earrings and hoops). Choose from a signet ring with fruit on a plain 14K gold or sterling-silver background or opt for a colorful striped enamel ring.

AnaKatarina Jewelry

Lady is the Tramp Necklace, $13,665

AnaKatarina’s cheeky jewelry is equally as high fashion when decorated with diamonds and rubies. As part of her ‘Lady is a Tramp’ collection, this lips pendant is set in recycled and fair-trade 18K rose gold with .28 carats of rubies and .6 carats of diamonds. The lips are carved from red agate and surrounded in gold. On the back, the necklace reads LOVE four times with a turquoise-hued ‘R.’ AnaKatarina did this to remind each wearer about the ‘Lover within the Love.’
