When Lando Norris crossed the finish line in second place at the British Grand Prix on Sunday, it marked McLaren’s first podium of the season. It may have been a difficult 2023 for McLaren’s Formula 1 team, but it remains one of the most popular on the grid.
That is down to the team’s long history within motorsport which stretches all the way back to 1963. Soon after that, Bruce McLaren entered his first car into Formula 1 at the Monaco Grand Prix. A McLaren car has been on the grid ever since.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, McLaren teamed up with luxury luggage company Tumi to produce a collection that pays tribute to the famous orange livery. The core collection consists of three pieces (a sling, a backpack and a four-wheel carry-on) that together make the perfect set for someone like Norris, who travels tens of thousands of miles over the course of an F1 season.
The Aero International Expandable 4-Wheel Carry-On comes with several nods to McLaren, from the papaya-colored front panel to the compression strap inspired by the carmaker’s six-point harness. Its aero-inspired lines and exposed carbon fiber details give it the look and feel of a supercar, and match the livery of this year’s Formula 1 car.
