WHAT: A dinner hosted by Michael Kors for 150 guests to celebrate the launch of Claiborne Swanson Frank’s new book, Young Hollywood, with a foreword by the designer. Young Hollywood is a body of work by portrait photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank and follows Swanson Frank’s first book with Assouline, American Beauty, published in 2012. Swanson Frank photographed over 60 up-and-coming women to watch in Hollywood today, drawing inspiration from Old Hollywood.
Michael Kors brand featured an exclusive look at the book, a Q&A with Claiborne Swanson Frank and a short film directed by Tamara Lowe on Destination Kors (destinationkors.com). Upcoming editorial stories include an interview with the makeup artist, Brett Freedman, on how to get the Young Hollywood beauty look featuring some of Swanson Frank’s subjects: Camilla Belle, Lorenza Izzo, Ireland Basinger Baldwin and Leven Rambin.
Young Hollywood is available for sale in select Michael Kors stores globally this fall, and through Assouline distribution channels beginning in September.
