The elegant Dimier collection from Bovet was introduced a few years ago and became an instant classic.
New to the collection, the Recital 8 combines all the exceptional design and horological advances of the collection into a single superb timepiece. The watch’s unique tourbillon heart, based on two threequarter plates and grandly suspended on the bottom of the face with a long, extended bridge, reflects a 19th-century aesthetic, but make no mistake, the “floating” feel of the indicators makes it eminently modern. Two time zones are displayed simultaneously, and the second time zone dial includes a day/ night indicator and links with a 24-city disk to cover all global time zones. Accented with white mother-of-pearl contrasting with a circular anthracite Côtes de Genève movement decoration, the 48mm Recital 8 is as sharp as it is fascinating ($240,000 in red gold; $252,000 in white gold).
