Last Friday, German watch manufacturer Glashütte Original held a glamorous event at Xun Club, Beijing to launch its new collection of feminine timepieces, ‘Pavonina’.
Together with more than 140 guests from Mainland China and Asia Pacific, Glashütte Original invited celebrated contemporary artist Ms Yanling Ma and prominent fashion designer Ms Mary Ma to join the event as special guests and to be the first to discover the Pavonina collection in China.
Mr Yann Gamard, Managing Director of Glashütte Original, and Ms Susan Chan, President of Swatch Group China, warmly welcomed all guests to an evening entirely dedicated to women and their many wonderful facets.
For the event, Xun Club was turned into an oasis of femininity and elegance where the exhibition rooms and dance floor where wrapped in deep purple and gold to highlight the beauty and diversity of the Pavonina collection. Together with the presentation of its new ladies collection, Glashütte Original also displayed various kinds of modern artwork – all of them related to the liberation and freedom of women, their beauty as well as their many achievements in the fields of science, medicine, business, art and culture.
