German prestige watch manufacturer, Glashütte Original, welcomed VIP guests to an incredible 1920s themed launch party at the Waterfall Mansion in New York City, to celebrate the addition of its new women’s collection.
The mansion, located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, was illuminated in royal purple, theme color of the event.
More than 200 people attended the launch party dedicated to the collection called “Pavonina”.
Dieter Pachner, Global Vice President of Sales, welcomed guests to an exclusive preview, in which 20 new models for women were presented in a special exhibit on the second and third floors of the Mansion, a gallery otherwise devoted to contemporary art.
The Pavonina Collection takes its inspiration from the decade of the 1920s, when women liberated themselves from the constraints of society.
Each of the exhibition rooms celebrated a different facet of women; one notable room presented a series of ten black and white portraits featuring prominent women of the 20th century, pioneers who brought changes for the roles and perception of women.
To complete the themed evening, the remarkable band Postmodern Jukebox played an electro-swing set, which got the crowd dancing into the night.
