Hublot announced today an exclusive partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, making the Swiss luxury watch brand the Official Luxury Watch & Timekeeper of America’s legendary football team. Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe joined together with Dallas Cowboys owner and General Manager Jerry Jones in Dallas, TX last night to kick off the start of an exciting multi-year partnership, as the two iconic brands fuse the worlds of luxury and sports.
The Dallas Cowboys are among the most famed football franchises in the world, boasting five Super Bowl Championships since its inception into the NFL in 1960, and sharing a record for having made the most appearances in the Super Bowl.
Hublot is celebrating this partnership by launching three custom, limited edition, Dallas Cowboys-branded timepieces, inspired by the team’s iconic Blue and Silver. Celebrating the Cowboys’ Five (5) Super Bowl wins, the famed Cowboy star can be found on the “5” of each model, with the woman’s piece boasting a star set in diamonds. The timepieces will be sold exclusively in the Dallas market – both at Hublot’s Dallas boutique and a newly minted pop-up location in the Cowboys’ Owner’s Lounge at AT&T Stadium, perhaps the most exclusive location in professional football.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, shared: “Collaborating with an iconic team like the Dallas Cowboys felt like a natural addition to our ever-growing platform of unique and exciting partnerships across the world, which also includes the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Bayern Munich, FIFA, and international football God Pelé to name a few. The Dallas Cowboys are an American institution; they are the world’s favorite football team. At Hublot, we strive to Be First, Be Different, and Be Unique. We have a long-standing history with the world of professional sports. We were the first luxury brand to enter the game of football (soccer) as well as NBA with the Miami Heat, and we are thrilled to become the first luxury brand to ever partner with an American football team.”
The launch event was highlighted by Cowboys Star Players and newly anointed Hublot friends of the brand, including Cowboys Tight End Jason Witten, Running Back DeMarco Murray, Offensive Tackle Tyron Smith, Wide Receiver Dez Bryant, and Head Coach Jason Garrett, who participated in unveiling the special timepiece collection designed by Hublot & the Jones Family. Guests caught a “sneak peek” at the upcoming football season from the Jones family and players, and were able to pre-order the numbered limited edition pieces, due to hit stores in time for the Cowboys’ annual Thanksgiving Day Game and the Holiday season. All three editions are packaged in a watch box inspired by the luxurious AT&T Stadium and include a signed Mini Helmet for diehard fans.
