Spell-bound by the lush beauty of this Maldivian island, the developers of this ultra-luxurious Anantara resort did not cut one tree down during its construction.
The resort excels in a number of areas, but none more so than in its wellness offering. Working in tandem with nature, the spa has developed a range of treatments that harness the healing properties of indigenous fruits and plants. The spa has six treatment rooms, all overwater and offering Indian Ocean views.
When it comes to a night’s sleep, the Three-bedroom Double-pool Beach Residence is the best in the resort. Here, up to nine adults can enjoy private access to an infinity pool, Jacuzzi and fitness center.
Whilst the suite’s own spa facilities do not benefit from the same ocean views that the resort’s main spa does, it is rectified by the serene privacy that is so embedded throughout the suite. Combining the in-suite spa facilities with that of the resort, the Three-bedroom Double-pool Beach Residence was selected in Elite Traveler’s inaugural Top 50 Wellness Suites index.
Tucked within vibrant foliage, the residence leads directly onto a private stretch of beach. Views of the white sand and mesmerizing turquoise waters poke through the greenery that engulfs the villa and work together to create a blanket of private island paradise.

Everything about the Three-bedroom Double-pool Beach Residence, from the subtle blue and white interiors to the round-the-clock private villa host, is of utmost luxury in one of the world’s most beautiful settings.
Our favorite feature? The stargazing opportunities are provided at the SKY Over Water observatory, which features the islands’ most refined telescope. The lack of light pollution means this part of the Maldives offers a vivid night-sky experience, from dashing pink sunsets to star-filled nights.
The villa, which comes with its own private chef and wine guru, is so glorious in its lavish detailing that you won’t want to explore the resort. But you should; as it is packed with unmissable experiences, from tastings in the underwater wine cellar to exploring the gorgeous marine life with Anantara’s leading snorkeling facilities. A leisurely swim in the turquoise waters not only offers a gentle workout but also reveals the underwater marvels of one of the best house reefs in the Maldives, a truly therapeutic experience.
