Wild and untamed Patagonia, with the dramatic landscape of the Andes Mountains, expansive emerald forests, deep lakes and fjords, is on every adventurer’s bucket list; and there’s no better place to stay within the region than Tierra Patagonia. Rising just two stories high, the hotel is somewhat deliberately incognito, letting the spectacular surroundings of the Torres del Paine National Park take stage. All of the guest rooms here have sublime views of the soaring granite peaks, but the one-bedroom Two-level Suite has floor-to-ceiling windows to really drink in that incredible landscape. The decor is decidedly simple, with a few choice furnishings and fittings carved from Patagonian driftwood that was reclaimed from the nearby lake’s shore.
