Premier Golf Villa at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas
A coveted destination for the golfing aficionados among you, The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas boasts not one but two famed 18-hole golf courses. One of those courses is the renowned TPC Las Colinas, which was until recently an annual stop on the PGA Tour.
Designated a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International in 2012, the course and surrounding resort is reportedly home to 74 different wildlife species. That means a round of golf or a lesson with one of the resort’s PGA-caliber private teachers can double up as a chance to spot peregrine falcons and eastern screech owls.
The 400-acre resort has a country club feel and away from the course, guests can hit the tennis court with a certified USPTA pro instructor, compete in a game of pickleball or take advantage of an extensive family summer events program. For something more low key, you can relax away the hours at one of the resort's three pools or at the spa with a tailored treatment.
Golfers especially will appreciate the resort's Payne Stewart Suite (Premier Villa Suite). The suite was originally named after the late American golfer, Stewart, who won 11 PGA tournaments including three Major titles.
The one-bedroom suite pays homage to the two-time US Open winner and is tastefully peppered with original memorabilia from the Stewart family’s collection, including a striking collection of photographs.
Timeless in decor, floor-to-ceiling windows invite in outstanding views of the TPC Las Colinas course, ensuring tee off is always in easy reach. The dining room, with enough room for 10 guests, is ideal for entertaining and leads to a large wrap-around patio that envelopes the suite – and puts you within touching distance of the lush fairways.
