The Suite
With three sweeping terraces that wrap around Hôtel Hermitage’s Belle Epoque facade and an elegant balcony accenting the curved living room, the Diamond Suite – Princely makes no secret of its most prized feature: the view. Positioned directly above Avenue d’Ostende, the suite gazes out across Port Hercule and the Mediterranean, placing guests in one of the principality’s most privileged perches.
At 2,152 sq ft, this regal residence accommodates up to six guests. True to its name, the suite channels the grandeur of a royal palace—with three large bedrooms, each complete with its own sitting area, bathroom, walk-in closet, and dressing room. The central living area, with its graceful proportions and natural flow, serves as the suite’s heart.
Each bedroom opens onto a generous terrace, while the living room leads out to a balcony. The layout is flexible; one bedroom can be converted into a dining room for guests who wish to entertain, transforming the suite into a showstopping private venue. From here, the views alone are enough to leave an impression. The decor is opulent without excess. Sculptures and vases are placed with restraint, while a palette of soft neutrals is gently accented with lilac and powder blue. High ceilings and natural light enhance the sense of space, allowing the architecture to speak for itself.
Staying in the Diamond Suite – Princely comes with exclusive benefits, including in-suite check-in, private transfers, and access to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, Monte-Carlo Beach Club, and the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Butlers are available on request. In every sense, the Dimaond Suite – Princely lives up to the reputation of the city it overlooks.
The Hotel
Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo exudes the refined style of luxury that helped put Monaco on the map as one of the world’s most exclusive destinations. There are many reasons behind its iconic status: the unmistakable Belle Epoque facade, its ideal position overlooking Port Hercule and the Mediterranean, the grand rooms and corridors styled with quiet opulence, and Michelin-starred restaurants serving world-class cuisine. And each May, Formula 1 cars race past the hotel along Avenue d’Ostende—making a room during Grand Prix week nearly impossible to come by. It’s the combination of all these elements that make Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo such a beloved and memorable stay.
Since opening in 1896, the hotel has offered timeless elegance. Today, guests can choose from 278 rooms and suites, ranging from superior queens to the ultra-exclusive Diamond Suites.
Wellness is a major draw. Shared with the neighboring Hôtel de Paris, Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo is a 71,000-sq-ft spa that merges cutting-edge treatments with sweeping Mediterranean views. Facilities include a heated pool, outdoor whirlpool, solarium, panoramic fitness room and advanced therapies, including anti-aging treatments from brands such as Clinique La Prairie.
Dining here is equally compelling. Acclaimed chef Yannick Alléno helms two Michelin-starred restaurants: L’Abysse Monte-Carlo, where he collaborates with Yasunari Okazaki on a refined blend of French and Japanese flavors, and the more traditional Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, offering classic French Riviera fare using seasonal local ingredients.
Guests also enjoy access to the Monte-Carlo Beach Club—ideal for capturing that quintessential Riviera moment, toes in the sand and sea just steps away.
