The Suite
The Grand Penthouse Suite at Almanac Barcelona sits high above the Eixample district, establishing itself as a refined rooftop residence. Designer Jaime Beriestain defined the aesthetic using a striking combination of materials: soft greys and warm beiges are paired with brushed gold accents, rich walnut millwork, and solid oak flooring. Works by Catalan artists complete the striking, yet calm, atmosphere.
The three bedrooms prioritize comfort and privacy. Each includes a substantial marble bathroom equipped with a freestanding tub, rain shower, and a dedicated walk-in dressing room. The suite provides three distinct living areas, offering ample space for both quiet mornings and hosting evenings. A separate dining room, seating six, ensures private meals are easily accommodated.
The real draw here is the outdoor space: two generous private terraces. Both are outfitted with sun loungers, shaded seating, and a notable amenity—an outdoor shower. From this vantage point, you get a clear perspective of the Barcelona skyline, stretching from the Eixample rooftops right across to Gaudí's famous works.
The Hotel
As the flagship for the forward-thinking Almanac hotel brand, Almanac Barcelona carves out a hotel experience conceived for a new generation of travelers. While landmarks such as La Sagrada Familia Basilica and Mount Tibidabo continue to quicken guests’ hearts from the hotel’s Azimuth rooftop bar, with its plunge pool and 360-degree vistas, the hotel gainfully forms a contemporary take on the old city. Think: art and treasures gleaned from local galleries, cutting-edge technology, and custom scents and amenities from perfumer Jimmy Boyd.
