The Suite
Tucked within the Amagansett dunes and once the coastal escape of playwright Neil Simon, the Beach House is a 1960s Alfred Scheffer-designed residence, now reimagined by The Roundtree’s founder, with a deeply personal hand. From the outside, its cedar shingles, gabled rooflines, and sculpted landscaping evoke classic Hamptons vernacular - but within, exposed beams, a brick fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors create a dialogue between past and present. The open-plan living space flows into a sleek Vipp kitchen outfitted with Jura marble and bar stool seating, designed for long, easy gatherings. The three-bedroom main house is anchored by a primary suite with its own outdoor sitting area, while a separate guest cottage and dedicated office with queen sleeper add further flexibility. Outside, a manicured backyard unfolds with sun loungers, a hammock, an outdoor shower, and a patio with a grill and dining table, all just moments from the beach via private pathways.
