The Suite
Catching the sunrise over seven distant peaks is the main event from this villa, situated high above the Buahan Valley. The design takes the 'open-air pavilion' concept seriously: traditional walls are swapped for billowing cream drapes, allowing the jungle environment to truly become part of the living space.
Inside, the style is defined by vaulted teak ceilings, handcrafted furniture, and earthy textiles drawn from traditional Balinese craft. The open-plan layout features a central four-poster bed, but the real draw is the freestanding copper bathtub, positioned perfectly to capture views of the valley and distant mountains.
Step onto the large wooden terrace, which pushes right into the canopy. This outdoor area is fully equipped with a daybed, an alfresco dining setup, and a fire pit for cool evenings. The infinity pool completes the scene, appearing to disappear straight into the forest line below. While the villa feels utterly private, it remains conveniently close to the resort's main area, ensuring easy access to all wider amenities.
The Hotel
Privacy defines the experience at Buahan, where open-air villas blur the line between shelter and jungle. The no-wall concept invites complete immersion in the surrounding landscape with views of dense forest and distant peaks. Crafted from reclaimed wood and natural materials, each bale-style villa includes a private pool and freestanding copper bathtub. The resort focuses on quiet, wellness and connection to nature, supported by an on-site herbal lab, yoga pavilion and zero-waste ethos. Far from the island’s crowds, Buahan offers a slow-paced stay where silence is part of the design.
