The Suite
The Two Bedroom El Palace Suite by Ronnie Wood is not subtle; it sings. Designed by the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist during an extended stay at the hotel, the space is an immersive reflection of his creative world. Wood wrapped the suite in rich Art Deco styling and his signature purple palette, personally selecting every detail.
Fifty original paintings line the walls, and a vintage Wurlitzer 1900 jukebox, loaded with his favorite tracks, anchors the luminous living room. The suite unfolds across two elegantly appointed bedrooms, each space layered with texture, color, and rhythm. Adding a layer of history to this irreverent, art-filled retreat is a fully restored Roman bath, a rare original from César Ritz's initial vision for the hotel.
Thoughtful luxuries complete the stay, including Chopard toiletries and the daily 'Bubbles O'Clock' ritual, where a bar cart arrives each afternoon with champagne and canapés. This is less a hotel room and more a celebration of individuality—a truly iconic residence in Barcelona.
The Hotel
A beacon of Belle Époque grandeur, El Palace Barcelona has been an icon of luxury since 1919. Nestled in the heart of the city, the hotel exudes old-world charm with its opulent chandeliers, regal marble columns, and gilded detailing. The rooftop garden, inspired by Salvador Dalí and the Mediterranean, offers panoramic views of Barcelona’s skyline. Inside, rooms and suites are timelessly elegant, blending period furnishings with modern comforts.
