The Suite
Blending Italian luxury with Japanese elegance, the Bulgari Suite is one of the largest suites in Tokyo. A vestibule adorned with calligraphy by Toko Shinoda opens into an expansive living area, highlighted by a glass façade offering sweeping skyline views. The 10-seat dining room, illuminated by a Murano glass chandelier, is serviced by a fully equipped kitchen. In the bedroom, an emperor-size bed is complemented by a full-length silk headboard designed by artist Shoko Okumura and crafted by Hosoo, one of Kyoto’s oldest kimono textile producers. The en suite showcases Italian craftsmanship, finished in Roman travertine with sinks excavated from a single block of Arabescato Corchia marble from Carrara.
The Hotel
As with its fine jewels, Bulgari maintains impeccable craftsmanship in its collection of hotels. When Bulgari Tokyo opened in 2023 — the Roman jewelry house’s eighth hotel — it quickly earned a spot on the world’s top new hotel lists. Interiors designed by renowned Italian architects ACPV bring the brand’s modern Italian sophistication into a harmonious blend with refined Japanese tradition. The luxury hotel occupies floors 40 to 45 of an ultra-tall skyscraper in the heart of the world’s largest metropolis, near Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, with its beautiful surrounding gardens, a must-see when the cherry blossoms bloom in spring. Dining options offer both Italian and Japanese cuisine. II Ristorante by Niko Romito is gaining recognition, following in the footsteps of its two-Michelin-starred sibling in Dubai, earning one star in the 2024 Michelin Guide.
