The Suite
The Aman Suite establishes a genuinely serene atmosphere, positioned high above the city noise. The design leans heavily into natural, light wood—a material used consistently across the floors, the sliding screens, and the main furniture pieces. This choice is intentionally balanced by cool gray stone accents and delicate 'washi' paper details, giving the interiors a clean, elegant structure.
The bathroom is clearly designed for deep, restorative relaxation. It features an oversized stone 'furo' tub, situated to provide a dramatic perspective on the cityscape. From this altitude, the metropolis feels distant and manageable; the skyscrapers stretch out into the distance below you, rather than towering above. On a clear day, the view extends far enough that guests often catch a glimpse of the distant, iconic peak of Mount Fuji. This is a quiet, elevated residence where the city views serve as the backdrop, not the main event.
The Hotel
For a traditional Japanese experience with five-star amenities and service, head straight to Aman Tokyo. From the moment the elevators open into the soaring lobby at the top of Otemachi Tower in the financial district, a sense of calm washes over you. Despite the hotel’s relatively small size (84 suites over three floors), it has the city’s largest and most comprehensive spa, spanning nearly 27,000 sq ft.
