The Suite
In a place as flashy and exuberant as Dubai, it can be no easy feat to hold on to the title of most lavish. But the Two-bedroom Presidential Suite has done just that — it’s featured in our Top 100 Suites for the past five years and beyond, with good reason. Unashamedly opulent, the two-story mezzanine is awash with royal tones and glittering gold. The two bedrooms have master bathrooms completed with full-size Jacuzzis and separate dressing rooms. There’s a living room and a separate dining room for up to eight people, a library, plus two in-suite bars (because why have one when you can have two) which can be customized to stock your favorite libations. The suite comes with a world-class butler service, too.
The Hotel
Needing little introduction, the Burj Al Arab is known the world over for its inconceivably grand design and top-notch amenities. An absolute riot of color, pattern and overt lavishness, the hotel’s bold decor is not for minimalists. Jutting 1,000 feet into the Arabian Gulf on its own man-made island, it was created to represent the shape of a billowing Arabian dhow sail.
