The Suite
Bryan O'Sullivan designed the Maybourne Presidential Suite as a contemporary, elevated take on the classic penthouse residence. The interiors establish a sense of quiet luxury, relying on soft neutral tones and custom, bespoke furnishings to set the mood. Instead of abstraction, the design incorporates specific points of interest: a baby grand piano anchors one corner, balanced by a striking statement fireplace.
Artwork reflecting the city's creative spirit is placed throughout the residence. Functionally, the suite includes a sizable dining area and a dedicated butler's pantry, fully equipped for private service. The bathrooms are designed like a private retreat, featuring spa-level amenities and intricate mosaic detailing.
The outdoor space is equally important. A long terrace runs the entire length of the suite, providing clear views across the Beverly Hills skyline. Equipped with charming, pastel-hued seating, this is the definitive place to watch the sun set over Los Angeles.
