Opened in 2022, Conrad Los Angeles has redefined the city’s Downtown skyline. Standing next to the world-famous Walt Disney Concert Hall, the 28-story luxury hotel puts its guests at the pinnacle of LA culture.
The hotel may be brand new, but it looks as if it has always been there. Interiors have been designed to reflect the culture of Downtown LA, drawing inspiration from the West Coast Modernist movement as well as the nearby statement architecture. Clearly proud of its location, Conrad Los Angeles is encapsulated by floor-to-ceiling windows, offering not only stunning city views but a plethora of natural light.
The Skyline Penthouse epitomizes the luminous sights afforded across the hotel as it oversees the sun dipping in and out of the city’s skyline, beaming bright yellows that obmré into reddish orange before nightfall. Encircled by a large, furnished terrace, the suite moves seamlessly between indoor to outdoor spaces, creating a truly soaring effect as you take in the cityscape below.
Inside the suite, 1,268 sq ft of space creates an immersive luxury experience. Featuring deep mahogany and oak brown furnishings that are freshly infused with leafy house plants and a bight lime-green sofa, the decor celebrates the heights through this naturalistic palette.
While the crisp woodland theme fits nicely with the surrounding skies, your gaze will be captivated by the suite’s striking art collection. Themed by minimalist abstraction, these pieces stimulate thought and reflection yet do not overshadow the beauty of the landscape that engulfs them.
Other amenities within the suite include a 75-inch TV that truly submerges one in cinema, in addition to a Nespresso machine for those less ready to be lulled to sleep by a movie.
A dedicated concierge, courtesy cars and private dining arrangements are also available to guests. Should you wish to dine outside the walls of your lavish suite however, Conrad Los Angeles features two signature restaurants from Michelin-starred chef José Andrés, in addition to expansive lounges and a rooftop pool bar.
