Young independent Swiss watch brand Cyrus brings together the beauty of a vertically positioned tourbillon with a fully skeletonized movement in a caliber designed by its technical director and master watchmaker, Jean-François Mojon. Housed in an all-new, 44mm, cushion-shaped case consisting of 26 parts, the movement not only showcases the constantly moving 52-part tourbillon cage, which is set on a vertical axis at a 90-degree angle, but also offers jumping retrograde hours on the left side of the dial, sweeping retrograde minutes, and seconds graduated at five-second intervals on the tourbillon cage.
The power-reserve indication is shown through a sphere at 12 o’clock. A specially made, domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the futuristic, three-dimensional movement and dial. A sapphire caseback allows for a back view of the vertical skeleton tourbillon.
