The newest Montblanc Heritage Perpetual Calendar Limited Edition watch houses an all-new movement that spent three years in the development stages. The perpetual calendar portion of the self-winding MB 29.22 movement is composed solely of wheels instead of levers, so the user can adjust the watch via the crown in both directions.
This makes it far easier to set the indications. Additionally, the new wheels-only concept enables a more legible display of the hour, minute, day, date, month, moonphase and leap year.
Montblanc’s top watchmakers have incorporated a newly developed safety feature that prevents the owner from setting the watch between 8 o’clock and midnight when the movement could be damaged while the correctors perform their internal mechanical manipulations to stay accurate. The watch also offers a dual-time function and a 24-hour indicator.
