Palms Casino Resort

A trendy resort with fun dining venues and the most expensive hotel suite in the city.

By Emma Reynolds

Palms Casino Resort’s location off The Strip is part of its appeal, and many come for the resort’s swanky vibe and incredible views over the glistening Las Vegas skyline. The Palms has an incredible focus on art and design, and there is a modern flair throughout the resort and has enlisted several contemporary artists to design artwork as well as a suite. There are plenty of great dining and drink venues, like Scotch 80 Prime, Vetri Cucina, Shark, Sara’s, Mabel BBQ and casual restaurants, like Send Noodles and Laguna Pool House Kitchen. Unknown Bar, Mr Coco, Tonic and Apex Social Club all offer unique bar concepts but are equally as fun and sexy — it’ll be hard to ever leave the hotel with how much it has to offer. There is also an impressive wellness program, which includes The Spa at Palms, The Salon by Priscella Valles, Drift Spa and the fitness center. There is also a chic boutique from Revolve Clothing, Palms Place Boutique and Stuff I Forgot, plus three awesome pools to relax in. The hotel has cheeky humor, best displayed through its eccentric art and branding. The hotel also has plenty of gaming.

Top Suite: Empathy Hotel Suite

The Empathy Hotel Suite is one of the priciest in the world, at $100,000 per night. The hotel brought in one of the most famous contemporary artists of our time, Damien Hirst, to design the top suite with Hirst’s most iconic and provocative artwork — like the tiger shark preserved in formaldehyde inside a vitrine. There are two master bedrooms, a cantilevered Jacuzzi overlooking the strip, massage tables, a salt relaxation room, bar and six exclusive artworks from Hirst.
