This annually held, most prestigious polo tournament in the Middle East offers the public a rare glimpse behind the scenes at the UAE’s only Royal polo facility.
Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club is a private royal venue and not open to the public, with the exception of certain events. Even for the Grand Final, technically an open event, you’ll need to secure an invitation. The club is led by its chairman and patron, H.H Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In the final, held on January 24, Desert Palm edged out Bin Drai 7-6 to become the 14th champion of this event.
