By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Beijing, China – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine

For the first time in his career, NBA Champion, NBA Finals MVP, Olympic Gold Medalist and seven-time NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade came to China to the Forbidden City in Beijing to meet “The One Million RMB Basketball Charity Challenge”. The challenge for Dwyane Wade was to score a maximum number of baskets, each corresponding to a sum of money ($50K, $100K etc.) and on an increasing scale of difficulty and winnings.

The funds collected by his shots will be donated to the leading non-profit organization One Foundation on behalf of Hublot and Wade’s World Foundation. Wade launched the Wade’s World Foundation in 2005 to provide support to various educational, health and family service programs, in particular those that benefit underserved communities. Founded in 2006 by Beijing-born and International Hublot Ambassador Jet Li, One Foundation’s mission is to promote a culture of broad-based participation in philanthropy and giving.
