Delhi’s Exhibit 320 Opens “Census of Sense” Art Show

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Delhi, India – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine

Exhibit 320, a contemporary art space in Delhi, announces its new “Census of Sense” show highlighting the five traditional human senses, plus a sixth—thought. The show, curated by Veeranganakumari Solanki, features work by artists Bose Krishnamachari, Nandan Ghiya, Princess Pea, Soazic Guézennec, Sumakshi Singh, Sunoj D. and Vivan Sundaram.

“Census of Sense” challenges viewers to consider their reactions to what they perceive through their senses: Is an explosion an attack or a fireworks display? Does everything taste as you expect it will, judging from the smell? Does everything look like you think it will, judging from the sound? How much can you rely on your sense of touch?

Carefully curated to provoke thought, the show seeks to make viewers entirely aware of their reactions, each of their senses (hearing, touch, sight, taste, smell and thought) and their interdependence.
