The Nikko Bali may be one of Bali’s grand dames, but with significant investment 18 new stand alone villas just opened, another one nearly completed and rebranding in July 2012 as the first Grand Nikko it is making its play for elite travelers.
There are 17 one-bedroom villas with about 3,000 square feet of space indoors and outdoors, including a barbeque and sufficient shaded area as well as sun spots.
The villas line a ridge running down to a cliff so they offer spectacular views of the waves below from the seven ocean facing units. There is a two-bedroom villa and a duplex three bedroom-villa that will offer 7,000 square feet of space when it’s completed. For the villas standards include private pools and outdoor showers. The main hotel also offers a presidential suite and several other signature suites.
Located in Nusa Dua the hotel also has some of Bali’s largest function space making it popular for meetings, weddings and multi-generational family celebrations. The villas are a short cart ride from the main lobby and close to the ballroom making them ideal for top executives and VIPs if you are holding your event at the resort. There are also eight different food and beverage outlets providing options from deli to Japanese and even Italian.
