Over 1,000 movers and shakers from around the world were at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali last week attending the Forbes CEO Conference.
This past weekend the opening ceremony of Miss World was held in the same conference center and coming soon world leaders attending the APEC forum will be here.
However the veteran Balinese fixture is making its own news with some surgical additions to go with a major facelift. A new 99-room wing opened in August features four two-bedroom Residential Suites and five Family suites. Almost 20 percent of the resort’s now 434 rooms are suites, and as part of what Director of Marketing Communications Dewi Anggraini calls a “transformation” a new Heavenly Spa, Italian restaurant and children’s club are on the way.
In the meantime its also renovated conference featuring over 25 meeting rooms, close to 30,000 square feet of meeting space and an auditorium that seats over 500 continues to be a deal closer. “People know we have the experience to handle anything they need,” she says. One would believe having satisfied the wants of more than 100 CEOs attending the Forbes confab and some 131 beauty queens in a six-day stretch, Anggraini is probably correct.
