On June 7 and October 4, the luxurious Hotel Arts Barcelona presents an exclusive experience for gourmands, allowing guests to experience Barcelona’s famed Boqueria market through the eyes of a renowned chef.
The two one-day “Shop With The Chef” workshops will give participants the rare opportunity to spend the day with Hotel Arts’ executive chef, who will share his secrets behind Catalan cuisine as you shop, prepare, cook and indulge in a menu featuring fresh ingredients from Barcelona’s iconic Boqueria market.
Chef Roberto Holz, at the helm of Hotel Arts’ two Michelin-starred restaurants and a major up-and-comer in Barcelona’s prestigious and innovative culinary scene, will lead the workshop.
Begin at 9am with a tour of the famous Barcelona Sant Josep Market, with chef Holz leading a discussion on the history of the market and sharing his top picks of local purveyors. You’ll take in the sights, sounds and smells of the sensational surroundings, as well as select ingredients to use for your upcoming meal.
After your insider’s trip to the market, collaborate with chef Holz in developing a menu and prepare the meal with the assistance of his team from Arola restaurant. Lastly, sit back, relax and delight in your creations with an informal lunch at Arola.
