Basel, Switzerland – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Named for the most famous of the legendary Bentley Boys—and the first driver to win le Mans 24 Hours three years in a row—the new Bentley Barnato and Bentley Barnato Racing chronographs marry sportif style and top-of-the-line performance.
On display at this year’s Baselworld exhibition, taking place this week through March 31st, the timepieces feature a COSC-certified movement and a one-of-a-kind, super-efficient “30-second chronograph” system.
With key design details like generously sized cases and red-rimmed sports counters that mimic the dashboard of a Bentley automobile, these new releases stay true to the style of the beloved British manufactuer. Available in a choice of black or silver dial, with applied hour markers and tone-on-tone counters in a chic spiral motif, the Bentley Barnato is offered in steel or a special red gold version limited to just 500 pieces. The Bentley Barnato Racing series is easily the most unique of the Breitling for Bentley chronographs, with an exclusive disc-type counters system that displays hours and minutes of measured time through two red triangles, the silver-toned discs recalling the steering wheels of a vintage Bentley racer.
