Basel – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
Watch company Maîtres du Temps last month launched two new luxury timepieces at Baselworld, the world’s largest watch and jewelry fair.
Founded by Steven Holtzman, Maîtres du Temps produces aesthetically and technically refined artisanal timepieces. A relatively new company, the concept behind Maîtres du Temps is to bring together master watchmakers from around the world to develop and craft exclusive timepieces using their collective talents. The highly anticipated Chapter Two Triple Calendar Round and Chapter Three Reveal are the result of collaboration among the best talent in the watch making realm.
The second timepiece produced by the company, the Chapter Two employed the skill of two master watchmakers, Daniel Roth and Peter Speake Marin, to create one of the top triple calendar wristwatches on the market. Both technologically complex in design, and elegant and sporty in its finish, it marries luxury and practicality with its striking round dial and signature roller indications. With rollers for both day and month it features luxury touches such as diamond-cut, solid gold hands and anti-reflective sapphire crystals.
The Chapter Three Reveal aims to combine a classic design from independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, with the technical expertise of Andreas Strechler, the acclaimed watchmaker and constructor. The result is a refined timepiece with a graceful blue guilloche dial and a myriad of indicators and time zones, some of which are hidden by rotating panels which are only revealed to the wearer via a pusher set crown.
