JULY 5 – 14, 2013
Jazz music has always been popular in Copenhagen, and the city boasts one of the most famous Jazz halls in the world – the Jazzhus Montmartre.
One of the largest jazz festivals in Europe, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival attracts around 250,000 visitors and features more than a thousand different concerts in a hundred venues around the city. These eclectic venues give guests the chance to explore some of the more out-of-the-way and unusual areas of Copenhagen, while, of course, listening to some fantastic jazz music. The festival always attracts many stars from the jazz world, but enthusiasts can also expect to see new and up-and-coming talents, both from Denmark and around the world.
