As Europe’s most westerly coastal city, Lisbon offers exceptional yachting opportunities.
Several marinas are situated along the historic north bank of the River Tagus, which will host the Lisbon leg of the Tall Ships Race 2012. Due to the limited number of berths, advance booking is advisable for super and mega yachts. Further west you’ll find the Marina de Cascais, which has also staged international yachting events including the ISAF Sailing World Championship.
MARINA PARQUE DAS NAÇÕES
Lisbon’s newest marina, Parque das Nações is an urban marina just five minutes from Lisbon International Airport and the city’s cosmopolitan historic center.
The South harbor has 600 berths for yachts up to 25m (82 feet) and the River Pier offers an area of 752 feet for super yachts. Other features include a 13,000 square foot boatyard, crane, and travel lift. Wi-Fi access, maintenance area and security services are also available.
